Civil + religious ceremony in Tijuana (often at the family parish), reception across the border in San Diego. We travel with you — TJ in the AM, SD by 4pm. Plan for SENTRI/border timing.

SD ceremony, TJ family welcome

Wedding in San Diego (Hotel Del, Coronado, Liberty Station), Friday welcome dinner with TJ-side family at a TJ restaurant. We cover both events as one weekend.

Hacienda destination weddings (Valle de Guadalupe)

Mexico's wine country, 1.5 hours south of TJ. Adobe Guadalupe, Bruma Valle de Guadalupe, La Lomita. We travel + cover.

TJ-only (full destination)

Some couples (US-based) want to honor heritage by holding wedding in TJ. We shoot at Centro Cultural, parishes, or beach venues like Rosarito. Travel package.

Day-after Mexicali / Tijuana portrait

Day-after editorial in TJ — Avenida Revolución, Mercado Hidalgo, Border Field State Park. Cultural portraits couples can't get on the US side.

Civil-only US, religious ceremony Mexico

Many binational couples do legal wedding in CA, religious wedding in MX. We cover both — usually 2 weekends or a single trip with both events.

Do you have insurance + permits to shoot in Mexico?+
Yes — international liability coverage + tourist-card paperwork on every Mexico shoot. We carry passport + work permission for filming.
Bilingual?+
Yes — Alex is fully bilingual. Day-of directions to family in both Spanish + English. Abuelos on both sides feel comfortable.
How does the border crossing affect timeline?+
We build 2 to 3 hour buffer for border crossings. SENTRI helps. We map ceremony + travel + reception times against estimated wait. Worst case: leave TJ by noon for a 4pm SD reception. We've done it many times.
Cost?+
AGV starts at $5,500 for cross-border Photo + Film. Multi-day binational weddings (welcome + ceremony + reception + day-after, both sides) typically $7,500 to $9,500.
Equipment safety crossing the border?+
Insured + declared. Customs forms filed. We use compact gear pack so we don't look like commercial production — easier crossings.
