How does fog affect Presidio weddings?+
Summer fog (June-Aug) typically clears 11am-4pm and returns 4-5pm. We schedule ceremonies for 1-3pm sun. Fall + spring weddings have the most reliable bridge views. Don't schedule a 5pm ceremony for the bridge backdrop in summer.
Can we get permits for Battery Bluff or Crissy Field?+
Yes — NPS Special Use Permits. Apply 6-9 months ahead. We help with the application + know the best ceremony spots. Permit fees are $200-500 depending on location + guest count.
Officers' Club vs. Golden Gate Club?+
Officers' Club has more historic character (1776 adobe + tile floors). Golden Gate Club has the better bridge views + bigger capacity. Officers' Club for old-California feel; GGC for modern bridge-view weddings.
Travel from elsewhere in CA?+
Presidio is in SF — easy access. Travel from greater Bay Area included. Friday + Sunday weddings often have more availability than Saturdays.
How early should we book?+
Saturday weddings April–October — 12 to 18 months out. Officers' Club + GGC fill earliest. Off-season + Friday/Sunday — 6 to 9 months.
