How does road access affect logistics?+
Santa Cruz Mountains are winding 2-lane roads. We recommend hiring a shuttle for guests if your venue is more than 15 min off Highway 17. Allow extra time for vendor setup — gear takes longer to haul to mountain venues.
Sand Rock Farm vs. Roaring Camp?+
Sand Rock is the more polished wedding venue — built for events, refined finishes. Roaring Camp has the unique vintage-train ceremony. Pick Sand Rock for production-quality, Roaring Camp for one-of-a-kind character.
Cell service / wifi at venues?+
Spotty in deeper mountain venues. Sand Rock + Felton Guild + Mountain Terrace have decent service. Boulder Creek + remote properties may not. We pre-test ahead of every wedding.
Travel from Bay Area?+
SC Mountains are 60-90 min from SF. Travel from greater Bay Area included in pricing. Friday + Sunday weddings often have more availability than Saturdays.
How early should we book?+
Saturday weddings May–October — 12 to 18 months out. Sand Rock Farm fills earliest. Off-season + Friday/Sunday — 6 to 9 months.
